Grass is green the dirt is raked and the bases and lines are painted up. Wind has the flags blowing and the balls are being taken out of their plastic wrappers. Today will bring on the first pitch of 2010 as the FSU Seminole baseball team takes on Georgia state at 4:00pm EST.

Our baseball team is VERY GOOD.
Straight in a row wins makes me happy. Mike Martin has done a good job with FSU.
And I'm going to see FSU v Virgina on Sunday. We'll kill them!

I'm sorry for not getting as excited yet, but the FSU Baseball team ALWAYS starts off looking like the best team in the world. The Undefeated start is encouraging but I'm still nervous to get my hopes up considering the late/post season play that I've also grown accustomed to.

I'm inclined to believe the baseball team is good. I always do. And I'm always let down at the end of the season. I plan to follow the season closely, but I don't want to get my emotions to tied up thinking that perhaps this year we might go all the way. I'll just wait and see if it happens.

another Mike Martin disappointment of a game...

I knew it was coming. My father and I were discussing FSU basedball the other day and he was remarking on how surprised he is that Martin has coached at FSU for as long as he has w/o winning the big one. Are they going to force him out like they did good ol Bobby?

11 will not be going any where in the near future. 11 really needs to get some better pitching. Either Jaime needs to go or something. The way the team is playing right now they will be lucky to host a regional.

FSU won tonight. Taking the season series from the gators.

How on earth do we lose to JU Though?

Same as the past few years. No pitching and to many runners left on base. Heck they left over 10 on base tonight against Miami. That is the reason they lost. Losing to JU does not bother me as much as losing weekend games that they should have won.
