They are definitely in a bit of a transitional period since losing TD. I am a diehard FSU BBall fan and even went to Boise for the NCAA tourney. We lack a PG and that's been a problem. Alabi is still clumsy though he did manage to put a heck of alot of points on the board last night but the coaching needs to be called into question re: why on earth they would pass the ball to Alabi when he's got 3 GaSt. players surrounding him. In the last 2 minutes, our players did this twice, maybe 3 times. We have never been a solid freethrow team but did get progressively better last season. I tend to think we play up to the level we "expect" the other team to play. The good thing about all of these non-conference games is it gives Hamilton, etc the chance to really see where our weaknesses our prior to getting into ACC play in January. One thing that has been improved on this season is conditioning though. That was more than prevalant in our win over Alabama in the Old Spice Classic. By being able to swap out so many players every few minutes, there's less exhaustion. I tell you what though, Snaer is an exciting player to watch. Last night he finally looked like his NCAA nerves have gone and he's going to be fun to watch over the next 3 seasons.
