DSW shoes is confirmed coming to Tallahassee as I found this job posting today on Careerbuilder seeking a storemanager for the new store.

When you plug the address listed into google maps 1302 appalachee parkway is the former borders location.

So its definately coming.

OK Florida, I had some down time and did a little internet snooping about a possible DSW for us. I found two things of note. One was that coming to Pensacola is a DSW, along with a ULTA cosmetics and a Fresh Market all together taking over a KMart shopping center in PCola which struck me as interesting consider our KMart closing soon. Second, I stumbled across this website which claims to have a blueprint for a Tallahassee DSW? Now I know nothing of how stuff like this works so this could be a complete sham but would love your thoughts: https://hrcplans.com/plans/download_blueprints/376.

PS, Shoe Station is to a Walmart as DSW is to a Target (if you want to draw comparisons..ha ha ha).

If this is the same place that's in the St. Johns Towncenter in Jacksonville, its on par with The Shoe Station although they may offer different brands. Still a great addition to the Governor's Square shopping district non-the-less and excellent fill-in for the former Border's location.
