Catalina Cafe moving to SoMo.....

One of the primary reasons is proximity to Cascades Trail (old Graphateria building on FAMU Way and Adams). Plan to directly link to Trail so trail users can come in an watch roastings process and buy beans.

I think we are seeing a new entertainment and dining district come into being. There is already a bit of an '18 hour district' on South Adams by FAMU, so this should all morph together into a pretty cool place to go. Which means Tally now has 18 hour districts in Collegetown, Midtown and SoMo/S.Adams.

This is very encouraging indeed. I have known about the plans for this shop for a few years, and glad to see it coming about.

With this happening, will they need all of those locations so close together? Edison Building, Happy Motoring and Graphateria are all within a linear mile of each other.

oh, and this....

as well as this...

In all those maps, the frame covers about a mile and zooming in shows even more dining and bars. I'd actually say the SoMo district is hardly anywhere near saturated at this point.
