This one would replace the Warehouse and Auto shop.

There are some other graphics but not renderings. There are box schematics that I've seen. I'll update the page this weekend and try to see if anything has been submitted to GM.tricknole wrote:Are there more renderings of this?

Ooh Okay. So this is the Park Place development posted earlier....anyway to remove/combine the other post?
A couple of things I find interesting about this development:
-it solidifies my thinking that there will be a bike route running parallel to Gaines Street and explains why the Hotel Indigo will have a proposed pedestrian bridge (over bicycle boulevard) connecting it to the park garage located to the north.
-I hear the developer is proposing to include two levels of below grade parking as part of this project.
Thanks for posting this....

Kinda bummed to see "The Warehouse" go the way of the dodo, but I guess it's worth it since they're also taking out the empty warehouse nextdoor and that auto shop.

So the pool deck will be elevated, on the the 3rd floor, essentially? Definitely like that more than it being at street level and facing Gaines. I wonder how the courtyards along Madison (err, Bicycle) will look from the street.

Yes, the pool deck will be elevated on top of the podium with a 2-story glass clubroom & fitness center behind it, which will open up to the pool courtyard. The elevation is purely conceptual at this point, but the brick color will change and the exterior facade will have more natural colors vs the blues you see in the elevation.

I assume this will include more public parking spaces? I know people don't like garages, but I wish they'd build at least one dedicated public parking garage. If I was a visitor, I would hesitate to park in the Stadium Centre garages since I'd assume it's for the apartment residents.

There is a public access parking garage RIGHT next to this. It is has never been full when I have gone there.

I understand the redevelopment of this site, but I think the buildings could be re-purposed and their scale maintained. There are a lot of 5-7 story buildings in this area and it adds to the character and design of the area to maintain difference building sizes. This looks just like the rest of the student housing in the area.

I'll pass on the repurposing suggestion. I say bring on the new development.DT Osceola wrote: ↑Tue Apr 10, 2018 4:43 pmI understand the redevelopment of this site, but I think the buildings could be re-purposed and their scale maintained.
