I was thinking that everybody migrated to the Facebook site (...not a fan). Let's hope the drop off is due to new management growing pains.

I frequent the site weekly however I am also concerned by the lack of updates and conversations. I am hoping the change of management is reason, I enjoy the forum and look forward to being in the know with all the latest developments in our community.

Updates have made more than a few forums I have been on less easy to use. BUT, I eventually figure it out. My concern is that this site and forum was kind of 'neutral' ground for discussing development issues (pros and cons). Now the site is under management of one of the biggest development forces in Tally (HUGE commercial property leasing force) and I think some folk want to see if they keep the site neutral or if there might be push back against anything that might be critical of NAI Talcor's business (the field, not them specifically).

We've had some pretty frank discussions by folk in the commercial real estate business (or folk passing on info from within the business) about issues with commercial leasing in this town that might not go over well with such a strong insider.

I moved out of Tallahassee (state) in Nov so now Im more of a lurker. Been back to Tally twice since, March and a couple of weeks ago. I was unfortunately on hand to see the demolition of my beloved Firestone Bldg. Biggest changes to me has been in the Mosley-Stearns area (old cement plant off Gaines). The Enclave is going up fast and now pretty much everything else is being bought up and torn down for student housing. This site is definitely much less active of recent.....not sure why.
