NEW FRENCH PASTRY SHOP NOW OPEN DOWNTOWN!
BUSINESS – Downtown Tallahassee is seeing a resurgence of retail and restaurant activity as new shops are popping up in nearly all of its districts. The latest arrival is the local beloved Au Peche Mignon French Pastry Shop, opening its second Tallahassee location at 220 Duval Street, just north of the Leon County Library.
The new Bakery opened its doors for business on November 14th, offering a vast array of cakes and pastries, encased/dipped/truffle chocolates, macarons, fresh bread, cookies, pies and quiche in addition to beverages within a well appointed and spacious dining room.
With limited parking at its new location, 16 spaces total, operators are promoting the availability of parking at the nearby Library, where the first hour of parking is free. And if an automobile isn’t quite your speed, the location is literally right across the street from the main StarMetro terminal making it the ultimate transit-oriented-development, at least for Tallahassee standards.
The restaurant operates Tuesday through Saturday, from 8am to 6pm and is closed Sunday through Monday.
Forever changing, just one more reason to get out and re-explore Florida’s Capital City!
