3 Natives Opens First Tallahassee Location
Healthy Lifestyle Café Now Open on W. Pensacola St.
BUSINESS – Tallahassee residents and visitors looking for a fresh way to kick off 2018 now have a new fast and healthy dining option. 3 Natives opened Saturday, Jan. 6, at 8 a.m. A healthy lifestyle café specializing in acai bowls, cold-pressed juices and superfood smoothies the restaurant is located within Walker Plaza at 3020 W. Pensacola St., just east of Tallahassee Community College. The first 50 guests received free acai bowls when the restaurant opened this morning.
Founded in Tequesta, Florida, in 2013, 3 Natives has seven locations across Florida. The Tallahassee 3 Natives becomes the café’s eighth location and is a franchise. It is owned by long-time local resident Kerry Nohle and his son, Brett Nohle, who also own the local Which Wich and Smashburger franchises.
“With the New Year upon us, it’s the perfect time to open our doors to Tallahassee residents, college students and visitors who are searching for healthy and convenient food options. In addition to acai bowls, juices and smoothies, 3 Natives also will be serving a variety of wraps, salads and bagels. The café strives to use produce, coffee and honey from local vendors when available. Additionally, the proteins, hummus and dressings served by 3 Natives will be made from scratch each day without any preservatives or added sugar.

Kerry Nohle, franchise owner of the Tallahassee 3 Natives location, began his restaurant operations career by opening multiple Subway locations in Tallahassee. He also has served as a franchisee and area representative for Marco’s Pizza in South Carolina and North Carolina. Nohle is currently a franchise owner of four Which Wich restaurants and three Smashburger restaurants in Tallahassee and Destin. In addition to the Walker Plaza location, he is developing franchise locations for 3 Natives in the Florida Panhandle, South Carolina and North Carolina.
